01 / WHY NOW

The permission gap

Today, identity powers AI.
Permission lacks modern infrastructure.

PERMISSION GAP 01 IDENTITY Face · Voice · Likeness 02 USE Train · Create · Publish ? CONSENT SCOPE DURATION

TWO SIDES OF THE SAME GAP

Unclear permission creates fear on both sides.

IDENTITY OWNER

“If I lend my identity, do I lose control?”

Unclear reuse, scope and duration make owners hesitate.

IDENTITY USER

“If I use identity, can I prove permission?”

Unclear authorization makes businesses inherit risk.

01

Outdated

Present identity transactions were not designed for AI-speed creation, replication and reuse.

02

Fragmented

Identity, permissions, agreements and accountability live across disconnected systems.

03

Insufficient

When authorization is vague, identity fails to unlock the value it holds for people and businesses.

02 / TRUST LAYER

Build trust over fear

The base of every trust is
a clear consent.

ACTIVE PRINCIPLEEvery use begins with consent.

03 / THE BRIDGE

Two sides of consent

KONAI bridges identity owners
and identity users.

IDENTITY OWNERS

04 / ABOUT THE NAME

From a hand on a contract
to identity in the age of AI.

KONAI takes its name from an early biometric contract story — a reminder that identity and permission have long been linked.

We chose KONAI to carry that principle into the age of AI.

In 1858, Rajyadhar Konai of Bengal placed his hand on a contract. It was one of the earliest recorded uses of a biometric impression to establish identity in an agreement.

More than 160 years later, faces, voices and likenesses can be captured, replicated and generated by AI. One principle remains: identity should always have consent and defined permission.

05 / PILOT INVITATION

The right system cannot
be designed in isolation.

KONAI is inviting early partners to help shape practical identity authorization for the AI era.

We’re inviting you to help shape how identity authorization should work in practice.

01

Help shape the product to your need

Bring real use cases into the pilot while the product and workflow are being formed.

02

Access emerging concepts and early product experience

See the consent, rights and licensing concepts before the network opens more broadly.

03

Help establish the standard

Contribute practical input to the emerging infrastructure for authorized identity use.
